Hi there, My name is Nekol
Ive made this blog to show my love and passion for sewing and designing.
ever since I can remember Iv wanted to be a fashion designer, always seeing things in a way of how they are put together. deconstructed and how they could be changed or made a different way.
At first when I was younger I would just sew little things. fixing things I already had or made bits and pieces to make my day to day life a little easier. (fixing holes in pants, making a case for my camera so id stop constantly dropping it, replacing buttons.) Then as i got older and learned more ways of sewing and putting things together properly I started making and changing clothes, for myself, friends and family. I could actually put together real things from ideas in my head and they mostly worked out.

Sewing has become a stress reliever for me. If Iv had a bad day sewing and/or designing something would take my mind off of things.

Not having much money Ive always tried to make things out of stuff I already had. Tshirts. Pants etc and turn them into something new. Recycling whatever I could. Explains why you probably wont be seeing it written anywhere on here of how much fabric by yards or whatever have been used.

I like making myself new clothes, accessories etc. but I love when I can make something for someone else and put a smile on their face. For 4+ years now I've been making and sewing things for a little girl in my life and now I'm working on 6 months of making things for my little man.

I'm experimenting and learning almost everyday and Hope you enjoy stopping by to check out what Ive come up with next.
